Xylotene is a popular product for oral health, supporting tooth mineralisation. For oral health, Xylotene can be mixed with a small amount of water and used as a mouthwash or applied direct to problem areas, such as ulcers.
The active ingredients Xylitol & D-Xylose have several approved health claims and feature in numerous clinical studies highlighting potential benefits around oral health, arthritis, dry mouth and much more.
Xylotene is also prebiotic and can be taken alongside live friendly bacteria products such as our products from our UniBac range to improve the survival rate of friendly live bacteria in the gut and keep the microbiota balanced.

Directions & Suggested Use
- Teeth and Gums: dissolve a teaspoonful (2g) in 50mls water, rinse for one minute, spit or swallow.
- Mouth Ulcers: apply directly to mouth ulcers three to four times a day.
- Daily Use & as a Prebiotic: One teaspoon (2g) a day, in tea, water and or juice. Use prior to taking a live bacteria product.
- As an alternative to sugar: Replace table sugar with Xylotene up to a maximum of 15g per day.
